Hawaii Symphony Orchestra opens the season with its new Saturday morning one-hour program for all ages. Respighi employs the centuries-old trees of Rome as witnesses to life around the city, from children playing around the Villa Borghese to a dreamy nocturnal scene to a triumphant army heading toward the Capitol under a glorious sunrise.
