DESCRIPTION:Pacific Music Institute Wind Ensemble\nChristopher Smith\, conductor\nHawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra\nDane Lam\, conductor\nPacific Music Institute Symphony\nRichard Scerbo\, conductor\nJoseph Stepec\, conductor\nA Collaboration between Hawaiʻi Youth Symphony and the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra:\nSide-by-Side programs are joint initiatives of professional orchestras and youth orchestras; a chance for aspiring young musicians to play in the “major leagues” for a night. Students and professionals become stand partners and sit side-by-side. Our summer Side-by-Side concert will be the first for the Pacific Music Institute\, a concert including the Wind Ensemble\, and the Side-by-Side performance with the HSO and PMI Symphony Orchestra performed at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall. We are proud to collaborate with the Hawaii Youth Symphony on this special project and invite all to come attend the performances!\nThanks to the generosity of our supporters\, the Hawaiʻi Youth Symphony and your Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra are pleased to offer these concerts FREE to the public
